Power Run

A power run on our dynojet 250i dyno consists of the motorcycle being warmed up then performing three to five 100% throttle runs to record the maximum power and torque of the bike and a detailed air/fuel analysis to highlight any part of the rev range where the bike is running too rich or too lean.

 

 

 

 

Power Commander Custom Mapping

Designing a custom map is a process where we run your motorcycle at each throttle position from 2% through to 100% to record the air/fuel ratio at each position. Using the power commander we can then change the fuel input throughout the rev range for each throttle position to give your bike the optimum fuel/air mix for any given throttle opening and engine rpm. The end result will be a smoother more consistant throttle response and maximum power and torque from your motorcycle.

 

 

Bespoke Tuning / Jet Kit Setup

In addition to fuel injection mapping we can further improve the performance of your motorcycle by adding a dynojet ignition module to alter the ignition timing. Motocross bikes such as the Kawasaki 09 KXF450 can utilise the Kawasaki FI Calibration Tool to alter both the ignition and fuel curves to get optimum performance.

Carburated bikes can be tested and improved on the dyno, to get the best overall performance we would usually recommed fitting a dynojet kit.
